Professional real estate training is a vital function carried out by the Realtor® Association of Sarasota and Manatee, the National Association of Realtors® and Florida Realtors®.

There are more than 1,900 local associations and boards and 54 state and territory associations of Realtors®. Additionally, real estate professionals can join one of the many NAR institutes, societies and councils to enhance their expertise and network with other professionals globally.

If you’re not a member of the NAR, but you’d like to become one so you can take advantage of all the benefits of membership – including accessing the “member’s only” portion of this site, and the NAR and FR web sites, you must first join our association. Membership in a local association automatically extends your membership to the state association and national association. As a member, you are the voice for NAR – it is your association and it exists to help you increase your business opportunities.

The NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® has nine affiliated Institutes, Societies, and Councils that provide a wide-ranging menu of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, productivity and knowledge. Designations acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by each Affiliated group upon completion of required courses. In addition, NAR offers several certification programs to its members.
